I'm supposed to be working that morning but I'll see if I can just call in sick. All depends on how that week goes. If so, I'll drag a couple other fullsizes with me.

I'll do my best to get that day off. I start my new job at the hospital on Tuesday, so I'll try and figure my schedule out. Hopefully I can bring my dad as well, I've really been trying to get him interested in the balance of his non-stop hunting regimen and conservation/Tread Lightly, and he seems pretty open to the idea of keeping his hunting grounds open and clean.

I'll post up later whether I'll be able to make it.

I'll be there! :wings:

If possible, would someone volunteer to come in from Potato Patch and post a sign at the wobbly gate to let folks know the trail will be blocked?

I may be able to do this for you. I will be camping somewhere up there and coming down the trail from that way.

Awesome!

I know we'll have enough folks and rigs to make the trail impassable. I guess if they ignore it, they can join the cleanup!

Again, please bring your own tools for the day if possible.

Ranger Ron Rogers will supply some tools as needed, and U channel for blocking the off trail use area.
We will need help carring the equipment into the area. Ron's FS truck is not capable of reaching the site without damage, so we'll need to ferry in the stuff. The U channels are 7' long!

You can clearly see the damaged area of the tank where the illegal hill climb is.
