Here's your shirt, James. It's khaki and I won't even wash it so you can get the full effect.

Yes! That rocks! Now if you can "make" about a dozen or so more everyone will look our way when we're "on tour" around Mon!

I don't know if everyone else in the group has the sense of high couture that we do. Not everyone can pull off redneck chic like we can. :shakin:

I love it!

I do need to ask for sleeves on mine though. Can't be messin up my farmers tan! That nasty burn at the shoulders would make for a bad weekend in WV.
:jump:

With shirts like that we could fit in most anywhere in WV!

Personally, I don't expect to do too much driving very much during the trip - just sitting around talking, poking at the fire, hiking, splashing around, photographing, mainly. That's me though. Everyone's welcome to do their thing. :)

Chris, I think we will get along just fine.

As long as they don't have a sense of smell they'll be just fine. With a shirt like that, remove a couple of teeth, toss some 10w30 in their hair, and just about anyone can pull off Redneck chic...

hello all, haven't really met anyone here yet, found this site through my club, thenewx.org, but came across this thread and it sounds like a good trip, it falls perfectly during my five-day break from the fire dept. just have to check when my better half starts back to school, she's a teacher so I'm not sure, but will keep an eye on this to stay up to date...thanks

Okay, I was waffling around, but barring troubles with the Jeep (I REALLY want to get a gauge cluster with temp before then) I plan on being there. I'll be in a ground tent. I'm interested in a day hike for sure, and geocaching as well.

Anybody coming from the Nashville area, or through it, let me know, I could adjust my schedule to caravan up.

I was a for sure last winter... then a maybe , then a prolly not, and now back to a most likely. I started to tackle the leaf springs (add a leafs) on the 60 today and boy, oh boy, I am getting my *** kicked, so as long as I have them done... the way it's going after today its gonna be a close one!! Should be there though!

We'll be on the lookout for you!

Otherwise I have nothing new to report, just killing time waiting for the end of August to get here.

By the way, Chris, redneck chic includes denim jackets...

Have been watching this thread since it started and now that its getting closer I think were going to do what we can to make it down there. Have not been to the area for a few years now and have been itching to get back there. That whole area is one of my favorite places to explore around. Looking forward to some scrambling, some caving and getting somewhere where you can actually see the stars at night.
