The rebate says offer valid from 11/10. I bought my tires on 11/08. Do you guys think I will be able to get this rebate? Or what can I do to get this rebate since I bought my tires 2 days before this rebate was released.

I bet it would work. Talk to DTC. After I bought my last set of tires, they changed the rebate from like $50 to $100. I called customer service to ask about it and they added the $100 on top of the $50.

Thanks. Glad to know that. I just called my local DT where I got these tires from and they don't even know about this rebate. So they just asked me to bring the rebate and they will see what they can do for me. I will print it now and head out in a bit to go to the store.

You'll all love this... I talked with a MAJOR tire manufacturer at SEMA (NOT BFG!) about the new BFG A/T. They've had a few set through benchmark testing now... I mentioned that the old BFG tread left a LOT to be desired in ice/packed/wet performance compared any modern tire. The engineer that I was talking to responded by saying that the NEW BFG AT was THE BEST non-studded/non dedicated winter tire that they had ever tested on ice.

Sounds like BFG finally brought the A/T back to the front of the pack!! He did indicate that it is possible they've compromised something else about the tire (treadwear, cut/chip resistance, etc) but could say without doubt that the winter performance was top notch!!

Keep the long term feedback coming in!!

Just ordered

I just ordered a set of 315 75 16 for my LJ. Not crazy about the fact they are only available as E rated but the extreme weather rating is important. We get a lot of rain here with the occasional dump of snow that turns to ice. My Pro Comp mud tires are down right dangerous in these conditions. It will be nice to have decent traction with the Jeep. I just hope my off road performance doesn't suffer too much.

I haven't read all 17 pages of this thread...

These tires are supposed to be (1) better in the snow than the TA/KO's they replace and (2) have even more durable sidewalls which the TA/KO's were known for.

I'm interested to see what folks say after they've got offroad miles and snow use on them.

Hi, I read an article about the new "TWEEN" tires in one of my off road articles. Much stronger side walls as well as lug on the outside. several mfg's will be offering them. I will get a set because I have loclers front and rear and I have to drive most miles on pavement. I hope HANKOOK comes out with one soon.
