Put the cart before the horse this weekend and bought an awning, but the deal was too good to pass up a $500 out the door with 2 of their light strips included. It's a 180 degree from Roam Adventure Co. Weighs 58 lbs and is 89 inches long.
I spoke with Jay and he stated their mounts are what the awning fit list is based on, and that the forward side latches are the main area of concern. Since they may not latch/unlatch properly.
Has anyone here installed an awning not using the OVRLND supplied mounts?
Just trying to figure out if the latches are not operable at all or just don't fully articulate.

Thats a really good idea. Do you know how the size compares to the Apache cases at Harbor Freight?
