On my way back from Salina KS on Sunday the old girl crapped the water pump. So it got a new one and I also put in a NOS t stat with the 3 jigglers, seems to run a lot cooler now..

Also been working on a buddys truck. REsealed the VE and Vacuum pump.

Don't you love how frickin' easy those water pumps are to replace? I did find out the hard way to use only Cummins parts. Hope you did the same.

I actually didn't use a Cummins one, Got a local parts house that is cheap and they got good quality stuff also. The inter cooled truck are actually a little tougher to change the water pump as one of the bolts is tucked behind the fan support hub. I ended up pulling the shroud, the fan, and the fan support. Took about an hour start to finish. On my 90 its abut a ten minute job.

Just whoring some pics here. But with in the next few weeks I should have a gooseneck hitch in it. Also with in the next couple months its gonna get a set of 6 new tires, not sure what I'm gonna get yet but they will be 235 85s or 255 85s. This truck don't leave the pavement much but it does see snow so what do you guys suggest?

255s will look better, but it's not all about looks, is it? What brand/tread are you thinking of? (Can open, worms everywhere!)

Well with this truck do care about looks, I would love 255s but about the only thing you can find s a full on mud grip. The added hight would be great but I don't want em to touch in the rear when loaded heavy and don't want to run spacers of any sort. I guess the old style cooper STs would be alright but those are only an 8 ply tire. Right now theres about an inch of space between the duals and with 255s they would be real close. I'd love a set of Toyo M55s but at 300 a tire that would get real expensive.

Currently I'm running Kumho road venture ats and they've been decent but I want a tire thats made in the USA, I very picky like that

I've got a few tires in mind but not 100% sure yet. Most likely I'll end up with a BFG of some sort

I like these

What year ford? I know theres no way to do it on mine with out a spacer. If I stick with 235s it'll be a bunch cheaper also.

We run the commercial T/As on our Fuso FG at work. It is dual rears. I think 235s, but I'll check. They are a great tire. Awesome in the snow! (We have had almost 3' in the last 48 hours. I am going back out to plow it and then groom snowmobile trails in a few minutes.)

Man I say keep it as close to stock as possible and don't stuff the wheel wells. Your other truck looks excellent with the set up you have on it. I would keep the same idea with this one. It looks pretty epic. Driveability will stay up there as well.

Well sound like theres a high probability of me dragging my buddys 35' goose out to Colorado to get a truck he just aquired. He got a 95 dodge v10,5spd.

Hitches like that are very uncommon up here. Most people go with 5th wheel style. Aside from being less crap in your box, is there any advantage to the gooseneck? Are they as strong as a 5th? You are relying on the strength of that little cast ball, no? I do hate the space eaten up by a 5th hitch. Can you easily take the ball off if you need to have a flat floor?

I'm sure you will take lots of pics on the trip? I look forward to seeing them!
