Big Tex, thanks for the compliments. The Camera I use is a GE W1000 point and shoot, one could probably be bought for around 75 bucks or so. BTW Is all well with you? I was watching the weather earlier and saw that the Dallas area got hit pretty good.

red, I will most likely polish em. Just gotta get some stripper and strip the clear off em. Then comes the fun task of polishing.

I restored a 31' Airstream... I know all about stripping and polishing! (That sounds dirty doesn't it?)

Your camera shows you have true talent. Both with the truck and with your photography. To be able to take good pictures with a simple p&s is a mark of that talent.

I say polish them. I think it will really look sharp!

Pullit- yes my family and I are good. No damage at all. Thanks for asking. Still no deaths reported, which is amazing considering some of the pictures. I think one of the tornados probably went a mile or two north of me, based on some of the damage around. A friend of a friend had his house destroyed, and they are probably only 4mi. NE of me, on the same county road. He was on the phone with his wife who was in the house with their kid. This is what he came home to:

Thanks for the compliments again guys.

Alan, I'm gonna start saving my pennys and get a decent camera one of these day. I've also thought about maybe takin a photagraphy class so I can learn correct terminology and some more techniques.

MR.Beast, I usually hate them also, they are one of the 1st things that gets ripped off a truck when I buy it.

Chili, I'm probably gonna pull the toolbox and bed rail caps and strip and polish those too.

BigTex, Glad all is well with you and it is amazing that no one was killed in that mess. We've had some close calls in the last few years also.

Well as of today I started stripping the boards, I also went to the local u pull yard and picked up a set of seats and some other knick knack crap. Funny both my trucks now have red seats. The ones I put in today a much comfier than the old grey ones I had in there, The seat back latch stripped.

I also swapped steering wheels with a buddy who is getting rid of a POS 92 D250, Mine was worn severely.

.

A decent camera doesn't have to be expensive. One of my favorite cameras I bought for 10 bucks. It is an old 70s Canon AE-1 program and can take as good a picture as anything else I own. A simpler older camera is easier to learn with as well as everything is in the open and has to be done by the photographer. A college photography class is always a good idea too. You have composition skills the rest is just fine tuning.

Been a few weeks since I updated the thread.

So in the last few weeks I've gotten some parts for the truck and gotten a few on. Got a new set of shocks for the front and I robbed the steering stabilizer off the 90 after it developed some death wobble issues, the truck has never driven or rode better. also got most of my AC parts so I can get that working. I also installed a 12cm housing, the correct battery hold down I also got a spare vacuum pump and a few other things it needs.

I also picked this gem up tonight.

1974 Winnebago Indian.

Pretty dang clean for a 38 or 39 year old camper. Everything works and its NEVER leaked. It was also stored inside most of its life.

Dadgum Pullit, youve come along way with that ride. If I drove through your town and saw that many first gens together I would probably pass smooth out. Good work with the truck and camera, love the lightning shot. Dennis

Love the Winni. It even has the owners manual! Any idea what it weighs? Are you going to use it on the W250 or W350? I see you also got the "ultra sketchy combo pack"... The three jacks and accordion stairs! I had the triple jack set up on a Skamper pop-up, but almost always found the single was in the way of a truck tire.

Well the Manual says it weighs 2225 wet with non of my junk in it, so I'd be willing to say its gonna be about 3500lb ready to go.

And it does have 4 jacks and it will be on the dually, hard to believe the PO used it in a lifted halfton on 35s. now thats sketchy.
