Prohibited by privacy laws to take photos but just imagine the show "Intervention" going on everyday, all day. I'm the guy that oversees it ALL, including the MD's, nurses, MA's, psychologist's, social workers, therapists, case managers, dietitians, billing, accounting. No day is ever the same!

Is that a couple of Bravo II printers?

Yes, good eyes! We run 3 of them here.

These are public domain, so I think it's ok to post 'em

Yes, those are heliostats on the roof directing sunlight into the atrium.

The heliostats coupled with computer controlled window blinds contribute to significant cooling and lighting savings.

wow, some great pictures and cool jobs.

Here are a few pictures from this morning. I'm the steadicam operator surrounded by the grips holding the red nets (to reduce the wind's affect on the camera -- I was also using gyros). Just about ******** myself each take as the plane was so close!

My previous tour. I am on the radio (on the left) as we pack up, my GySgt being funny behind me.

Ron B, is that camera truck one of a kind, or one of a series? I have seen it(?) several times in my travels around LA. Usually early in the morning, headed East on the 134.

Also, is the plane a Stearman? There evidently is a documentary being shot of the Stearman's history. Should be interesting. Another small note, the radial engine was likely built/rebuilt down the street from me. They had a radial on the test stand for about 4 hours today. I love the sound of it.

not sure what kind of plane it was, but it was sure purty (loud too). It was a scene re-inacting a scene from Capricorn 1.

The crane is made by Chapman and there are a few dozen world-wide. They were built in the late 60's from military amphibious trucks (they're 6 wheel steer using 3 front axles from duece and a halfs). Here's a picture showing the rear wheels (I'd love to do this to my truck someday).

Why, pray tell, are the re-enacting a scene from Capricorn one?

Only memorable line from the film, "Mom was on the roof..."
