You weren't at the Universal fire were you?

Some idiot camera AC left a battery charging over the weekend.

Nope, kept waiting to get moved in to the fire but didn't happen. Pretty much a surround and drown affair. I like the inside fire attack and on the roof ventilation working fires, surround and drown gets boring just sitting on a hose and putting the wet stuff on the red stuff.

First one is "theifing" a sample of crude oil from a production tank. Second one is preparing a sample for the centrifuge to determine the basic sediment and water content (BS&W) of the oil. Marketable crude oil may contain up to 1% BS&W and the delivery point has instrumentation to measure the BS&W to make sure they don't get too much from a tanker making a delivery.

This is a temporary project I'm working on, so I rigged the centrifuge which runs on 12 VDC, to be powered from the rear winch power plug, just inside the tailgate forward of the driver's side tail light. In order to secure it inside my truck, I rigged the 2x4's & 1x6's to the bottom of the "shake out box" such that the tailgate being closed would put pressure on the 2x4s and secure it to the bed. Locking the tailgate prevents easy removal.

Betacam SP? HDCAM? DVCAM? DVCPRO? etc...

Oh... I don't have anything to do with that end, we mainly shoot 35mm film or some guy shows up with a big computer and wires that goes to the camera and all these ones and zeros travel through them to create images somewhere I've never been.

Mmm Woody Creek...

That is by far the scariest airport I've ever flown into... Makes Telluride look like LAX. As a pilot do you see it the same?
Worse than Mammoth or Catalina Island?
