Breaking it in for the first time today! :)

Only thing I really want to do now is add a rear swing-away tire carrier... any ideas?

Not all new additions but always working projects..

Here is one of my 1997 XD's, she has front and rear arb lockers, 5 inch lift, corrected front and rear control arms, full internal roll cage, built in rear storage, rovertyme front and rear bumpers, diff guards front and rear, heavy duty steering bars, front suspension bash plate, great basin heavy duty front and rear axle shafts, and great basin front and rear heavy duty drive shafts, 305/70/16 tyres on offset wider steel wheels,(I also have a full set of super swampers on steel rims for serious off roading) one off overhead console for sideband cb radio, short wave radio, built in gps tracking system, 1400 watt power invertor, 10,000lb recessed front winch with 100ft cable, factory xd rack with roof top tent, mantec snorkle, twin batteries with remote switch over....Oh, and I just finished converting it to stick shift with a 300tdi engine....yeah baby, this think gets 450 miles to a tank of gas and keeps up with traffic just fine....get her off road and she really shines, just came back from richloam and have numerous pics of going through the water crossings with water up over the hood, gettin her ready to drive to Moab from Ft lauderdale and spend a couple of weeks driving the trails and then drive back..

another family member

Here is my 1993 LWB zebra range rover, she has a 4.6 litre engine in her and I recently converted her to a 5 speed with a manual diff lock transfer box, this beauty will do 90 MPH all day long and then is very capable off road in air conditioned comfort...12,000 lb warn winch(original winch motor went out on my warn so I replaced it with a much bigger motor (had to recess the ARB bumper to accomodate the larger one) front ARB bumper and a custom made (by us) rear bumper with swing-out jerry can and spare wheel holder. Recently drove her from Ft Lauderdale to overland expo and back pulling a motorcycle trailer with 2 bikes and had ZERO problems...apart from being a bit thirsty on fuel..:coffeedrink:.. she also has a full length rover racks rack on her with a roof top tent.. many a great family 4wd camping trip has been done in this one..

And the old girl..

Here is my 1976 101 forward control ambulance.... I have converted her over to a holley carb (greatly improves starting and idle quality).. I was going to convert her over to an expedition camper but I have since decided not to destroy such a good example in original condition.. So something else is being done and this one may be for sale soon...

and my recent addition..

Here is the most recent addition to my collection...Still trying to find her history but I believe her to be a 1986-8 camel 110 defender with a 200tdi conversion done...this truck runs absolutely great and the pseudo restoration has begun....chassis is rust free but the door frames are pretty beat...all of the original stuff has been ordered and I intend to make this a world wide traveller...Ireland here we come onto Scotland and the rest of Europe and then home with me to Australia....this one will go with me to the grave...:)

Pseudo resto series 2a

I have had this truck sitting around for a while and decided to put some parts together and see what I come up with....she is a 1969 series 2a and I have installed a 2.25 normally aspirated diesel engine with a later defender 5 speed tranny with manual diff locking transfer box....frame off and repainted in truck bed liner paint and then the body done in Arles blue... not restoring but am redoing to be a very presentable off roader...should be a good runner also..
