They weren't the best on Icy Roads no matter what pressure i had them at, and with my commute of 80 miles a day being on mostly icy roads, I needed a different tire. I am running the MAXX on my diesel and on the GF's F150, and am happily satisfied with them, In addition, I wanted to go taller without a 12.5" wide footprint. Plus my ultimate goal (5 years down the road is 285/75/16's) so i needed a 16" rim. I loved the PRO's this summer and fall on the mountain and on trails. They really excelled and never gave me fits, but the lack of Siping and wide tread voids hurts it during the winter.

Next on the agenda is to prep for my Moab trip in May.
I need to install my spring spacers back on and install the lift shackles to get my flex back due to the taller tire. I have the HD steering upgrade coming as well as braided stainless brake lines.
The next warm day will entail changing the heater core, water pump, thermostat and associated hoses.
