I saw this dog in Gonzaga Bay, Baja a few days ago. As mi Espanol no esta muy buena, I could not quite understand what he was trying to tell me. But I'm pretty sure his khaki tactical vest means he is Overland Certified.
Louie (left) pug/jack russel mix.....Rocco (right) wire hair dachsund/jack russel mix. The were playing in the tall grass and Louie was taunting Rocco.
(Giant Malamute / Siberian Husky mix, female, 9 years old, bred to be a sled dog lead (VERY alpha) but hips broken when about a year old by an abusive owner - she hated pulling where/when/how someone ELSE wanted her to... rescued from a shelter in Yellowknife NWT Canada)
Eating snow - 'cause I can! The only thing I like better is finding some water to lie down or swim in...
Keeping watch - used to kennel outside at -30 to -40 with no problem (MASSIVE amount of multi-layer fur...)
A memory photo - He's 14 now....
(Lab/husky cross mother, Lab/Newfoundland cross father, rescued as a 6 month old puppy from a shelter in Ft. Simpson NWT Canada after being run over by a skidoo and having right front leg badly broken (radius/ulna/humerus - or their canine equivalents)
This was our only "kid" Dignan. He was nearly 11 years old in this photo. He lost his bought with cancer on Aug. 26th. We miss him dearly....
Although very fit it was amazing what this dog was capable of eating!
