Just spotted this thread. Picked out a few from my works computer screen saver file.

The Land Rover shot is on Stanage Edge in the Peak District (UK) taken early this year in the ice and snow. The other 2 are from Croatia. The frog was taken in Krka National Park and the city shot was handheld from our hotel room balcony in one of the northern cities on the coast, Rijaka. These were taken back in 2006 on a backpacking/island hopping 3 week trip.

GTA those are some clean shots ! Even that trail of solar flare along the fuselage adds a sense of speed that parked jet.
