Not that this will help you in your cause, but I just purchased 7 of these at $20 a pop from a guy. Well, they are not the red but the OD Specter Fuel Cans. I was on those like...well, you know; darn fast.

N.B. Scepter sells military grade and non military grade fuel cans. The difference between the two is major.

With the military grade being taken off the market Jan 1st 2008 I doubt they will be selling for less than MSRP.

Off the market.
The mil-spec cans are better than every other can i have ever used.
I went to the Scepter cans after i had a Bilitz metal can crushed itself from vacuum pressure to the point of a hole at the crease and lost fuel.

Maybe i should buy a couple of extras.

Martyn, the ones I got are Mil Grade, that is why I scooped them up sooooo fast. I had heard that Scepter civilian sales were going to end as well and another reason to snatch them up.

I talked to the people from Scepter at the After Market Show in Las Vegas (same time as SEMA), and they said are continuing their civilian sales.

Score on the miltary cans!

Indeed, Old Sarge knew what he was looking at when he saw them! :wings:
