I'm just really getting started on mine, but here are a few pics...

The first is when we first got it, back in 2000... had 61K miles on it, but it was in incredible shape... 170,000 miles on it now, and still strong!

The rest are various trips... Mojave, Cerro Gordo, Anza Borrego...

Always loved your 4runner. It has some nice work into it.:26_7_2:
Welcome to expo.

I need to build one of your rear bumpers for myself one of these days!

My 2003 double cab on 37's

Okay heres a little history of me and my wheeling "companion" my truck!

My first Tacoma was a extra cab trd 4wd.

Then to my horror it was totalled on a rainy day at work
302437842.jpg

Then I got a great deal on a brand new double cab, I camped and four wheeled it with 33" tires 2" body lift and Sway Away coilovers for a good amount of time

Then I finally saved enough money and collected enough parts to cut out the IFS from my truck. Heres the last day my truck was IFS.

Me during the fabrication process....I was pretty excited!

Oh shoot! I've seen your truck around here. I remember the plates. When did you sac it? I don't remember it having a solid axle when I saw it, but I could have been wrong.

And howdy, from just of the hill in north concord.

This was my first run with the solid axle conversion on my truck. It took some getting used to!

Through all of the years I have gone through lots of different bumpers lol!
This one I made using a harbor freight pipe bender and notcher.

I did the swap in July of 05 so roughly 2 and a half years. I used to drive it all of the time to work before I got a company work truck so thats probably why you never saw it after the sac.

I have probably seen your truck around also.

well, it took me a while but here's mine that I bought last December after selling back the Touareg.

2001, 62000 miles, bought it from an old lady who had never used the 4x4 ever...that was her second car for the weekend grocery shopping. Always garaged, seat cover since new, brand new Michelin, Toyota serviced, etc.

This 4Runner is virtually brand new - like it just came off the showroom!

:wings:

totally stock and I am not doing anything to it...just enjoying it! I am taking to Tahoe this weekend for its first time ever...
