Some photos taken from our time in Bosnia & Herzegovina. We were here about a week and visited Mostar, Sarajevo and some remote villages in the mountains to the east of the country. Lisa has written a blog post for this but it is on the other laptop so we will post up another time.
Clouds looming on the 1500m descent from the mountains.
History Museum in Sarajevo mostly chronicling the 1000 day siege of the city during the war
Old Bridge, Stari Most in Mostar. Completely rebuilt after the Croatians strategically rocket attacked it.
The old boys love a bit of chess in this part of the world.
Duran - A farmer working and living 1500m up in the mountains near Konjic. His place was the end of the road for us as he said the way to Lukomir was completely shut off. We spent some time with Duran in his house drinking coffee and eating dried lamb. We were the 1st people he had seen getting to his village in 9 months. Great hospitality.
