Yuman Straps!

Got home from a couple of weeks in Arizona to find my new straps. The work is very consistent on all the straps. No loose ends, no strings hanging off. Great attention to detail.

Awesome work Ryan!

Thanks, Jeff!! Glad you like them. I'm jealous that you got to go to AZ! I REALLY miss it there!
Over time you'll grow to appreciate them more and more... I'm always coming up with different configurations.
It's like playing Snow Peak Tetris... let me know if you need anything else or have any questions.

ATC Snow Peak Cases Project

Dear Snow Peak Experts:

We've been asked by several of your Snow Peak brothers to create some custom canvas carrying cases for the Snow Peak grill outfits and accessories. I'm looking forward to this project, but thought I would reach out to the experts to see what features you'd like to have in a heavy duty carrying case. All our gear is made in Colorado with USA produced 12oz. waxed canvas, YKK zippers, Mil-Sec webbing, buckles, thread and accessory pieces. I've studied the current Snow Peak cases and like their simple and functional design, yet by using heavier materials, components and new features I would hope to create some cases that match the durability and functionality of the Snow Peak gear.

If you have a moment, take look at our current gear selection on our website to see the quality of our gear. I look forward to hearing your thoughts and suggestions.

Thanks.
Paul

my quick thoughts on cases
the ones they have that are large works for the bamboo or the IGT part just fine simple to get in and out quickly while a few folks might want something for the bamboo tables and or IGT part I think that is not something I would care also the weight you can only have so much weight anyway and more carry it there and pull it out

where I think SP falls short is the parts organization or smaller cases
meaning the stainless half space inserts as example or the utility hangars and those kinda things so can think more later about this
the other thing could be good to make is a really nice case for the BBQ box that so many have :) I would not mind a two level case where I could put some charcoal in a small bag below then the box on top some might not like this though so maybe even a idea of a nice charcoal bag that more than SP folks could use at this point I use a old soft cooler for my charcoal always afraid the stock bags are going to split out

When I was toying with the idea of making cases, I was going to do compartments for each of the components. this would minimize wear from rubbing as well as noise. the tough part is that there are SO many different configurations... I'm kind of bummed that someone's beating me to the punch on this but its exciting at the same time! Can't wait to see what comes to fruition!!

YDR-

Your too kind....given the quality of your gear and the faithful following you have, I'm the one that's going to have to keep up with your gear! Heck, there's plenty of room for both of us!

Good luck with your designs!

Paul.

Indeed, Paul. I wish I could sew full time in your shop. NOW THAT would be fun!
One of the many things that I love about this forum is the ebb and flow of creativity and ideas. :)

Yes a case! I found a company that would make one for me but if you guys are going to do it all the better. I actually want a case for my IGT set up to slide up on the roof rack below my roof tent. My tent sits higher than normal since it's a regular Baja Rack not the flat utility rack. So there's a unused slim space to stow it along with my Front Runner chairs.
