Looks like maybe a Grandby? I love me some good Craigslist shenanigans!

Yes sir. A grandby shell model with an interior build that will need some attention. Great fit to my truck though, and a reason to keep on tinkering.

Thanks for that! I'm in Texas right now for a family visit; excited to get home and get after it. I'll keep y'all posted with the gory details.

The ubiquitous, "I just drove 300 miles to pick up my truck camper, and now it's on my truck, and now I'm filling up to drive 300 miles home" truck camper thread photo.

I clean out a bunch of less than desirable build out stuff in the shell this afternoon and took some preliminary measurements so that I could hop into 3-d modeling a bit of cabinetry.

Thinking that I will dump the factory upper shelf on the driver side and do a full wall of cabs about 12" deep. On the window side I plan to do a cab at the back corner.

Ideally, I can leave the spaces open and rely on the lower lips to keep the blankets, etc in place. And, I may put a swing up extended counter on there to use when we are inside cooking and prepping. Can't ever have too much kitchen space. :)

Got the back corner storage and aux table hammered out and installed.

It goes at the foot of the lower bed in the corner and wraps around the knee wall on the passenger side. The lower is for my coleman dual fuel, stools and cooking fuel. The uppers will be on a need to use basis, probably blankets, jackets, etc. The extra counter flips up and reaches across to the cook top. There is a swing away triangle that fastens with a magnet while doubling as a door.

All in all, I am really happy with it.
