6" lift, locker in the rear, 427 Stroker and a winch. Wasn't much it couldn't do.

Oh the Bronco...
Have had two both 78s and loved them just the right size for both highway and exploring the wilds of the silver state...yet hatted the 400M ... what a pig as far as mpg
Been thinking for along time about getting another and this time building a motor for the rig ... only way i would want to go is with a 4BT ... good mpg plus power.
Interesting to see soem one here has put a 4BT in alter full size Bronco... did not know teh front end on those trucks could handle the extra weight ... that could be avery interesting ride the right size and a few more comforts then the 78/79 Broncos.

Mine is still a work in progress, but here she is...

I'm still putting her back together. I still have a long way to go. She has a a BDS 6 inch lift, (will be SAS when I can afford it), BroncoAir bumpers front and back, BroncoAir on board air, 5.8L, Currently have 33inch BFG A/Ts. I'll post more as I near completion. Here is my build thread if your interested: http://www.fullsizebronco.com/forum/showthread.php?t=157772 I have big plans, but short on time and money to make it all happen quick enough. 2012-07-20_15-49-36_342.jpg2012-07-20_15-50-01_695.jpg

Thinking about putting a 300 6 cyclinder in mine with a few mods(offenhauser intake, 500cfm edelbrock w/offroad kit, split header, small 4x4 cam and a good ignition) and either a NP435 or ZF 5 speed! Dont really want to go crazy with the motor just free up some HP and torque. It has no motor so it's a blank canvas...
