I added mine directly the the L tracks. For the awning, I used the supplied brackets from 23zero. For the shower cube, I bought a set of brackets from ST as the 23zero ones don’t work. You’ll also need some L track bolts/studs. 6 for the awning and 4 for the cube.

Awesome, thanks for the pic. I actually picked up those bolts, and another set that's a bit longer. Once I set it up, I'll post some pics.

While the "spice racks" have served us well (and those are literally spice rack baskets. I'm not using hippetty-hop street talk), it was time for a shelving solution with a bit more class and pro look. Out with the old and in with the new. The STC "Appliance Shelf" (aka "Microwave shelf") will likely never have a microwave on it in our rig, but nice to have the option. And now that inverter microwaves are readily available, the option is even more palatable. Inverter microwaves use an inverter circuit to provide a steady amount of power at the desired setting, rather than 100%on/100%off, in various time periods, to heat at less than 100%. But not here to talk about microwaves...

The appliance shelf bolts to the kitchenette L-Track, so that is a prerequisite for installation. After we unboxed, clicked a couple pics, and gave it a quick wipe, it took me about 10 minutes to remove my homemade rack and install the appliance shelf. The small seat cushion is removed and the rack positioned in that location, between/around the actuator and galley counter. Shelf is aluminum, light weight, and with all the bends and shaping, is fairly elaborate, making the $400 MSRP even more reasonable. There is no aluminum bottom so the nice camper carpet makes the base for the lower shelf. We'll use the same sized baskets that we are using in the lowest shelf of the galley cabinet.

There are vent openings, to allow some of that heat vent's air to pass through, and there is enough space one can still reach the inverter button and plug/unplug into the inverter outlet.

So far, I've used this on a two night trip and found it a convenient place for our water boiler, which we typically set out as part of making camp. This frees up counter space. And, still room for all charging devices to sit on top shelf rather than on the countertop, freeing up even more space.

There are slots where a strap can pass through to secure a microwave, or other item(s), on top. I've seen a reasonably sized microwave strapped down and there are no issues with the soft top fabric folding inward when the top is lowered.

Obligatory photo dump.
These are after immediately unboxing and before wiping off, so excuse the packaging dust.

For those curious, the blue foam is the foam from the seat cushions. We'd removed the covers to wash them.

Overkill on the pics, I guess, but wanted to ensure subtle angle differences to show all aspects.

I tested with the baskets from under the sink and liked how they fit so ordered more. We'll keep the same items in those baskets that we kept in the spice rack. Things we want to keep handy like charging cords, flashlight, batteries, "Fire Safety Stick" fire extinguisher, bug spray, sunscreen, first aid kit, cards/games, etc.

Sorry, do you have a link for that trash bag?

Lid is sold separately and you’ll need to finish it. I honestly can’t say enough good things about it. For this application I think it’s the perfect size and capacity. It’s just off the counter too so you don’t make a mess throwing things away.

I’ve been meaning to post this up on this forum but didn’t have any low enough resolution photos that it would allow me to post. Took a few on the lowest setting today so hopefully this works….

Anyway I’m going to consider this a public service announcement for any Ford truck owners running without a tailgate. So since installing my camper not having a tailgate has bothered me because with a screwdriver and 30 seconds your taillights can (and do) get stolen. Now I know we all like to pretend we are only out in the back country but realistically if you park in the wrong spot when getting groceries for the week or having dinner you can come out to missing tail lights. Oh and btw, they’re a couple thousand dollars each because of the LED’s and BLIS monitors.

Here’s my solution. I have ZERO financial interest in this company so this is nothing but a plug for a company I personally use.

These brackets are made by Omaha Bravo Designs, they install in about 5 mins and basically render your lights unstealable by all but the most determined theif. They come in black but being the kind of guy I am I asked for mine raw and had them Ceracoated in Storm Trooper to match!

The other pics are of the locks I finally settled on to keep my new (also white) Fastguns from growing legs. These locks are from Infinate Rule and are 100% made in the USA out of stainless steel and are straight up beefy! I wrapped mine in 1/4” and 3/4” tubing to keep them from rattling and scratching any paint. I could not be happier on how these came out.

My truck and Supertramp live in a secure location but I was always nervous about losing my lights and or Fastguns to some opportunist @sshole walking by.

Anyway I hope this can help someone since this has been on my personal radar for almost two years now.

Chad- Great to see the creative juices flowing! love this set up! FYI We have been using a microwave on and off from day one... its brilliant and efficient... mostly use it off camper in our gazebo running inverter power from the camper (with the ahum..special cable we have spoken about... here is the microwave link. What is the plate size of your set up to confirm if this will fit...

Hi Everyone- we have been using Radius Garbage bins since they came out. Wonderful. Keep one in the rear seat inside truck, one next to galley and the last (larger ) in garage for larger spill offs from the rest... I willl be posting some upgrades shortly too... glad to see everyone putting in their spin into our limited space! -

I'll add some shelf measurements tomorrow.

We keep our trash bag in that spot but I do like the shelving unit.

@Chadx where are you keeping your trash in the ST?

We are simpletons. Ha. And, we don't make much garbage. We use a plastic container meant for dry cereal, pet food, etc. It's about the size/shape of a cereal box. A leftover plastic grocery bag is a perfect liner size. We place it on the floor against the driver's side bench. That is where our Lagun table mounts. I sit on the seat over the shower pan and Mrs. Chadx sits on the bench at the front of the camper. The slim shape of the container keeps it out of the way and it's handy for both of us to put things in it. We've found that it is within reach from both seating positions and from standing and using the counter. Everyplace else is a compromise for one of us based on where we sit. We really like the one that STC has on the inside of the camper door on the HT when I used it for a few days. But that would be a compromise for anyone sitting at the front of the camper. Guess we could have one on the door and one on/near the appliance shelf. But so far, the solution has worked well for us.

No pic of our solution, but here is the door one that STC uses:

@Fueggia I looked at the specs of your Panasonic and unfortunately, the dimensions are larger than what the appliance shelf will accommodate.

The appliance shelf has four strap holes. The width between slots (left to right) is 16 7/8" from outside of the slot openings. Width between slots is 15 3/4" from the inside of each slot opening.
The upper shelf has a lip to the rear, the right, and a portion on the left. Rear to front measurement is 11 7/8". No lip on the front so an item could hang forward of that surface.

The next shelf down is 9 1/8" back to front to back and width is just over 17" and just over 13 " when including or not including the rear shelf surface that extends around/past the actuator. Lower shelf dimensions are pretty much the same.

The baskets we are using are 8"x12" and look like they will sit in there fairly good without strapping down. We'll find out after some bumpy trails. The lowest shelf has open bottom and sits on camper carpet so basket will grip that better. The second shelf I'll monitor to see of the basket sliding around wears the surface. If so, I'll figure out a strap system, move to a larger basket, or pack something as filler around this basket to make it snug.

Not the best images, but you get the gist of the slots, lips and surface shape.
