The Jolly Green Giant...aka the Recycled Rig

At least with the FZE/Supercharger you'll only have to fill up once a week....

Luckily, it's not a DD.

Nice work J. Can't wait to check it out. Maybe if I get a chance this weekend, I'll give you a holler and come by to see the progress. Depends on how the home project goes.

Your always welcomed at my house Jack. I'll be around in the mornings and early afternoon.

X2 on the no daily driver thing.

Yep, but you won’t have to fill as often :-)

And while I will have to carry lots of gas inside my 4Runner you will have plenty in your tanks for the Nevada Trophy!

Oh man, it's like 68 or 69 gallons. That's going to hurt at the pump

Thanks Amigo's.

You both know your always welcomed over here. I'll be running some break in miles so I'll call you guys to see where your going to be.

This feels really good, what a huge stress relief. Now lets run this baby and see how she does.

On the Road Again...

I think our friend Willie Nelson said it best.

It's installed, tuned and running like a striped ape. We (Robbie and I) took it for a nice run this morning. We didn't push it that hard at all and it's pulling very very strong. I looked down and was cruising at 80 like it was nothing. And once again, allow me to reiterate, we were not pushing this at all. We may have been close to 3/4 throttle, but I don't think we were at or passed it.

Very nice. How many miles do you have to put on it, before you can really see what she'll do?

Glad for you man, you deserve it. Hopefully all of your future wrenching is for added farkle.:Mechanic:

Thanks Jack

As far as how many miles, I'm actually uncertain. That's probably the only question I didn't ask or write down the answer to. I just got back from putting another 80 miles on it. So far I'm up to about 220 miles on it today.

I should mention that the above speed references were uncorrected, so I was actually going a bit faster than I thought.

I was just curious, I wouldn't think it would need anything over 1k would it? It would be real hard not to get into the power though.:costumed-smiley-007

Ok, so it's been a week and I talked to James last night about your trip. So....where are the updates?:shakin:

How is it running? Any problems, real or imagined?

Jack
