Were moving, not sure where exactly yet will spend about a week scouting out areas and neighborhoods, probably in the boulder area but will see. Thanks for the offer maybe we can grab a beer sometime when I'm there .

Perfect! I have lived here for 7 years and there are some places of CO that are better than others. I'll shoot you a PM with my number.

finished up the latches on all the other doors. (a few adjustments, but they are all in and working). I should have the gas struts for the rear door soon as well as a large sliding rear window. I picked up my left over Flippac parts yesterday and I think I will install the cab sliding window in the new shell as it look and works well. I got a chance to go camp with the unfinished project last weekend at my buddys hand built cabin.

Was able to cut and install a rear slider window before the trip for the dogs. The window has a screen inside too so I'll be able to leave it open at night when were in the tent.

Is it eventually going to be colormatched?
Also, if I read correctly you are at some point planning on taking the excess height out, which section will you modify for that? Seems like any of them come with their own complexities (ie roof flip out would be difficult to reattach)

I saw you just south of Rico, CO on July 5th. Fairly early in the morning. I was in a blue 4 door Tundra with a flip-pac. I was pretty shocked to see you in that area since I'd been following your build. Definitely one of a kind!

I saw you. I was headed to Cortez to drop my wife off at the airport. Im currently still in the Telluride area. There sure are alot of nice rigs in this area.

Wow..This is one sweet build! Very creative! Solid works or cad? I built my alum bed with cad. Very helpful!

Build on! Sorry you moved out of the Seattle area. You and i need to share a campfire if you ever make it back here. Love to hear about the build.

Oh baby that is a sweet set up. If you haven't settled on a location, I recommend Eagle. The access to 4x4, and other backcountry activities is amazing. This area is perfect for a new family. The school system is top notch.

Well its been a bit since my last update. I have made some progress but most of my time has been spent out exploring and enjoying the summer.

Heres some pics of the drive down to Colorado from Washington as well as spedning some time in Arizona. I was able to install the torsion bar for the first time sicne the original flippac I had was missing one.
