1989 Tiger Provan - $2000 (Brooks) said:
For sale is a 1989 Tiger Provan. It's a 16 foot motorhome built on an Astro minivan chassis, making it solid enough to haul a boat or a trailer for ATV lovers. It has a 3-way fridge/freezer, 3 burner stove top, and dual sink in kitchen area. There is no AC in the house, but the dash AC in the cab cools the entire unit quickly and efficiently. Propane furnace works awesome! The fully self-contained bathroom even has a shower! Canvas top pops up to reveal an overhead bunk above the cab. Dining area also converts to bed. Sleeps 4 adults.

This camper is 22 years old and in need of some TLC, but everything works and the engine runs great! Has 170,000 miles on it. Got a major tune up last year. 2WD. Gets about 20 MPG. This camper is easy to drive and easy to take care of. It needs a very loving home with owners who will appreciate it's full value and are willing and able to put some work into it.

I'm asking $2000 OBO.

Please email me to set up a good time to look at it. No phone calls, please.

That could be one that i looked at 3 or 4 yrs ago (but it may have had 50k more Klicks on it). It doesn't say all wheel drive, but the one I looked at was. It was tired, but the camping interior had never been used, had never been used. The thing couldn't pull it's own shadow on a cloudy day. Knowing what i know now, I would have bought it , lifted it, tightenned up the ront end, swapped in a V8, and changed over the speedo, etc.

Could be a good rig for somebody if it's the same one.

1985 GT in San Diego - $6500

yahoo tigermotorhome group find:

CL ad here

1985 Chevy Astro Van converted into Tiger Motorhome. One owner, garaged when not traveling, 77,600 miles. Sleeps 4, micro, stove, oven, shower and toilet, fully self contained and in excellent condition. For whatever reason, it will not start, battery is good and mechanic stated something minor. I dont have the need for it and will not lower the price. Great vehicle to travel with, no issues with popup top or anything else.

From what I see, that's a 1994 or older. It has the old nose, corner markers and wagon wheels. When I zoom in I don't see the old style badging for AWD.

I agree, it's got the old nose, for sure. It wouldn't surprise me if it was CONVERTED by GTRV in 1996, since a lot of the parts I see (including the awning) look a lot like those on my 1995 GTRV donor.

1990 GT with rack for canoe - Lakewood CO, $3500

Welcome Kahnman ... and congrats on the Tiger find.

If you're talking about he bi-fold panels that help lift the top, I'd contact Four Wheel Campers (FWC) the lift mechanism is identical to theirs. The panels however in the Tiger are a bit shorter so might require some trimming. If you're talking about the wood pieces in the roof that run the length of roof, you can just unscrew/unstaple those and replace with whatever you like from the local hardware store.

Here's another GT find from the tiger yahoo group:

This Tiger is perfect for hunters or fisherman who are tired of tent camping. Has all the ammenities that a camper needs. This pop-up camper can sleep 4, has hot water, 3 burner cooktop, heat control, toilet and shower, microwave (must be plugged into an electric outlet), good tires, radio/cd player, canoe rack on top, and storage box on the back bumper. The engine was rebuilt 3 years ago and has only 16K miles on the rebuilt engine.
