Just leaving camp one. An absolutely beautiful morning and view from about 30 miles west of Colorado City.

Out of respect of Sam's efforts on the TAT route, I am going to turn off automatic tracking with the SPOT, but will be sure to send several "Ok" messages throughout the day, which will show-up on the share page.

Are you guys backtracking on the TAT? Its 3400 miles from Arkansas to Oregon....

I'm assuming "3,000+ miles of dirt" means you're doing the TAT both ways? Looking forward to your report.

The entire trail is 4,800 miles. We are doing the CO, UT, NV, CA and OR segments, which are the most scenic and challenging. We are traveling from East to West.
