Hey Haggis!
How you been? I like your RTT setup. I am not sure what I will do in the future when the boy gets bigger and takes up too much room.

By the way, I should be getting an article about this year's UP Overland trip published in 4 Wheel & Sport Utility. I am just waiting to hear from Kevin as to when. I think it came out pretty good and threw some ideas at him for more future stories he liked.

How did that wrap hold up out of curiosity.

How did that wrap hold up out of curiosity.

The wrap held up real well to scratches, dirt and general abuse. After 4 years the roof and hood began to get sun-faded and some spider type cracks were developing. They don't last forever, but it kept the white paint underneath nice and protected. It was a pain in the ***** to take off and expensive to put on. I bought the truck from a friend with it on and thought it looked cool, but it always bothered me that you could see white when the tailgate was down or the doors/hood were open.

Here is a picture where it's somewhat clean-

Sean,
Good looking truck. You live up in Guardsman's? I lived in Park City for a while, and it was good seeing the Jordanelle and Guardsman's.

Thank you! Two of my very close friends are 2 of 10 year round residents that live in the cabins up there. I spend a couple days a week up there.

At it again! Tried going up to where I was a couple weeks ago in the pictures above but could not get half the way. At about 4000ft my truck could not go any further in the 4+ft of snow! Also put my campershell back on, I was missing it!

Well, im back in a tundra-finally. I had purchased a new one in 2006, actually had it built at toyota for me for what i wanted it to have, and then sold it about a year later because where i worked & lived it wouldnt fit in the garages....but sold it to a guy on this board - SunMan - who i think still has it. Well it was one of those trucks i always regretted selling, and I recently sold my 01 tacoma, 2000 4runner & have been searching for the cleanest 06 i could find since. A retired fireman had just traded in his 06 Tundra Dbl cab 4x4 trd in to buy his daughters a couple of hondas for their graduation presents. He dropped it off, the dealer had posted on autotrader an ad, but without pics or any info, so next morning went and saw it...all original paint, 70k miles, mint, absolutly no rust, clean clean clean 1 owner, I was soo thrilled after looking, actually hunting for it, i offered the dealer $1k over what they paid the guy for it as a trade in & they didnt have to touch it...they took the bait & 1hr later it was mine. Only plans as of now are some coilovers & 285's BFG's, maybe a light bar.
