V4 progress, plating and adding some meat to the engine x-member. Also working on link mounts, packaging it all in a tight spot.

Quigley Transit in for some upgrades. Interior stuff, setting it up for bike hauling. May talk him into some bigger tires and blacking out the wheels.

I used a license tag bracket backup camera; offset a little since the tag bracket is in right hand door, but not much difference in the inside picture.

Seems like a great opportunity to take pics and evaluate how they converted it, with what parts, and the overall quality of the work, please? :) Lots of questions....

+1

One of those with decent 4WD under it sure would solve a whole lot of problems! :agree:

I've been under one Q transit already, they didn't have much to work with! Basically a front sub frame mod and drop with spacers, rack relocation, they did what they had to do. This thing flies! That Ecoboost is no joke!

A 4x4 transit will likely be my next van....way down the road. I hope both U-Joint and MG will have kits when that time comes.

Me too. My wife has been going on and on about wanting one of these which (sort of) bugs me to no end. I sold a really nice set up Excursion because she complained about its size and didn't want to drive it anymore, and now she wants one of these beasts?

Oh, and gets some MEATS under those things. Need to see some 35s under there! Stock is just pitiful and I bet even 33s would be just shy of looking lost under the bulk.

SoCal 7.3 is back from paint, ready to tear down! We already have it stripped, tranny goes to be built Monday and we have the frame ready to clean. Should have an axle under it by Tuesday or Wednesday.

I'm actually a bit shocked that this has not been asked before (if it has I've just missed it) but how does the turning radius of a 6" lift 35" tire Ujoint leaf spring conversion compare to stock? What is the radius difference between the 6", 35" setup and a 4" lift 33" tire conversion?

How does the coil sprung setup compare with stock?

Any actual measurements?

Jeff
