Warn hubs

Does any one know of a shop any where in the USA that repairs or recondition Warn hubs. I have not contacted Warn yet but I did not see anything related to repairing hubs on their site. I broke a half shaft on my Trooper and it broke right at the end of the hub axle gear it was not a clean break it broke at an angle and couple of pieces broke off and tore up the inside of the main housing. I also would buy a single hub if some one had one left from a set, I know finding a single for an Isuzu would be like finding a unicorn but I think some of the internals are the same on all of the premium hubs of this style #61385. Thanks for any help Dave

There is a shop in Phoenix owned by the Wife ? Of Warn . 4 wheelers supply 1-602-273-7195. They rebuilt my winch.

They have been in same location on Washington since 1954 .

I'd imagine any Ford tech should be able to service them. The Warn hubs on the Superduty are likely the same design. Just a matter of getting the parts for your hubs.

How much is a complete replacement hub?

Thanks Andy but this is beyond a service kit, after a through cleaning and examination this hub should just be replaced, damage starts at the main housing the bronze bushing is gone (small pieces) and it's seat is ruined, the axle gear is is cracked, the slide gear is cracked, the dial's threaded end is damage and the thread plate is bent. I just wish I could find a single at a reduced price but then it is an Isuzu. I could put this hub back in service with some careful machining but it would never be trust worthy.

Call these guys. They've been doing Warn stuff longer than I've been alive. Very helpful and everyone that works there drives some sort of lifted 4x4 to work...to then drive home...to work on their wheeler.

Well that what I ended up doing, I put it in the lathe and cleaned every thing up the best it could be. Then I turned an over sized bronze bushing and pressed it into the housing, because I had to clean up the bearing surface for the axle gear the gear will now ride on a heavy brass washer inside. I enlarge the seating area for the clip that holds the axle gear so I can use a regular snap ring and still have it turn. The dial is is still kinda funky but functional. Not the best but I do carry a flange drive just in case a hub does fail. Thanks for replys Dave

When I bought my current Trooper it had Warn hubs on it, but they were trashed with parts missing so I tossed them and got a set of Aisins. But they probably would have been useful for you... oh well too late now.

I never throw anything away and my shop looks like it. That's what I have been hoping some one will see this post and have a broken one or some thing I'm sure that the dial and cap and such are all the same on many of the hubs of this style. Dave
