What did you do to your Expo Jeep today?

The 35s look great! Really like the stance with that size tire, and you won't run into the issues that 37s and higher bring with them.

New Metalcloak front LCAs are arriving today, I'll put those in this evening. This weekend, I get to finish fixing the A/C, fix a few things in the exhaust and possibly a few other things depending on how much time I have to work on it.

Rrrrrroooooooaaaaaaadddddd TRIP! :smiley_drive: :victory:

Will we get a trip report with pictures?

Damn I dont know how I missed this but I am sure you saw plenty of comments and all on Expo East already. It was fun really wet and muddy but I had a lot of fun. Here are some photos for you Comanche Scott :) We stayed the first night at Crooked River State Park in GA then on to Fletcher NC the next day. Weather was hot in GA and not hot in NC lol. Anyways here are some photos for you to enjoy. I ended up taking about 120 or so pics on my phone but missed a ton of things with having my 7 yr old with me. Here are 10 for you. So many to choose from.

enjoyed the fall colors...

got stuck in "traffic" for a few minutes...

found parking for the beach...

enjoyed the sunset...

hung out under the stars while aliens invaded in the distance...

did some geomagnetic storm chasing...

too many lights...

in the dark...

Put the top back on. Always a sad day for me but the weather is a changin.
See I am in the opposite weather. Here in swfl you keep top on all summer rains every day. Then fall winter top off. I finally for the first time in a few months took off half doors and freedom panels and have been able to leave them off for a few days now. Hopefully full top comes off in next few weeks.

Took it out on Lime Rock's autocross track. I volunteer up there and today was out end of the season meeting and they give us a few hours on the autocross track as a reward. My Audi is down with some suspension issues so it was either spend time waiting to just run the two Miatas they provided or get some time with the Jeep as well.

I went into it fully prepared to roll it so I wouldn't be upset if anything happened. Definitely punished the tires and if I pushed any harder it's possible I would have ripped a front tire off the bead and had something happen. But it survived and and I had a ton of fun wrestling it around. Of course I got some time in the Miatas as well.

Went to UHaul to pick up my trailer for the move I'm making on Tuesday. Hooked up the trailer and its lights weren't working, so I tried a different trailer. When that one's lights didn't work either, I checked my fuse and it was fine. Turned out my towing wiring harness was bad...on my three-week-old Jeep. GRRR!

I called the dealership, who told me they didn't have anyone onsite who could fix it, so I told them I'd just do it myself since I'm leaving and don't have time to wait until Monday. They then told me if I did it myself, I would void that part of the warranty. I told them they're voiding the warranty already because they cannot fix something that is broken, so they're not leaving me a choice. Then I purchased a new one (a cheap one, but it will do for now) and wired it up. Then I got my trailer (finally) and loaded about half of it. All in all, it made for a heck of a long day, but at least I'm one step closer to getting out of here.

Replaced my 4" LED rack lights with 7" LED lights.
Replaced my factory 3 1/2" lights with 4" LED lights that match my taillights.

Great looking blinkers, can you provide a little more detail on what units you purchased and what you had to do with the wiring? Do they run with the head lights off? Silly question by the LED side markers in my bushwackers which tap into the front turns only blink with my head lights on.

I love mine got it before expo east. Had to mount it to my trail rack to use at event. Worked wonders when my 7 yr old decided to fall into the mud. It was very cold water but did great cleaning her up. View attachment 308400

Now that is a use for a TrashaRoo that I never would have thought of. How does that work?
Just toss in your daughter, add some water & laundry soap, then go for a quick trail run?
What do you do for a rinse cycle?
.
Inquiring minds need to know. lol :)

Raised aluminum floor platform & fridge

Built an aluminum raised floor platform, so gear can get stuffed underneath, and installed the fridge.
Super-Mutt V2.0 likes to "spread out"... ;)
.
Still needs some finish work on the carpet and fridge mounting plates.
