A bit of a sad news update,
Many of you may remember my time spent in Alaska, a good bit of that was in Egegik, working as the sole medical provider and safety dude for a cannery. This was in 2019, and 2020.
Page 9 -11 & 13, 16-18 ish
I recently learned the facility, is not being ran this season, and has only a few folks there for fisherman support, with plans to dismantle it later in the year. The facility was built sometime around 1920, so it had been running a long time. The world continues to change.
You will be missed, and even though some hard times were had there, the majority of memories are fond.

Howdy yall,
I have been quiet on here as of late. However, I have an update. I closed on a house last Thursday. Pretty excited just shy of 5 acres, pasture, house, shops, and the works.
I included a very rough overlay of the sprinkler zone map. But it gives you a good idea. I have spent much of my life full timing in a 5er and waiting for the right opportunity, and this was it.
I am stoked for all the covered storage and shop. The solid set sprinklers in the yard make it a bit of a maze to get into the shop, but its doable.

Yeah congratulations. Are the sprinklers above grade? Is that what solid set means?
Yeah it has been like crickets around here for the guys I usually converse with. Maybe we are all just in the background reading and not posting?

Well it is summer, so hopefully everyone is traveling or out with the family. Im sure it will pick up again when schools start and fall sets in with cooler weather.

Good points. I forget because this summer is the first one in 23 years without kids. I guess I went full "empty nester" without any delay.
