Well it been a busy week I have been working at a feverish pace trying to get this thing done by June 1st still up in the air if it will be done by then but must keep moving I spent last week going threw the build in my head and ordering all the stuff I would need like wheels and tires a/c compressor shocks springs and a bunch of little stuff. I rebuilt my Transmission right before I started this project so I just resealed it and added a deep pan and shift kit removed the parking brake housing and stuck it back in

Went and picked me up a set of axles from a 99 f350 I was told that the front was a Dana 60 before I made the drive but boy was I surprised when I got there but they had 4.10 gears. I guess they will have to do for now so I loaded them up and off to the house to strip them down

Found this little gem when I pulled the rear diff cover looks like a rebuild is in order

So I ordered gears and a limited slip for the rear and a ratchet locker for the front I was not going to do this at home so I took them to the shop

Well after getting the new 4.88 gears and lockers put in I started on the back axle think that it would be the quickest again I was wrong I swear people don't think when they build stuff

You can't get the dam springs out with the body on ******. Adapt and over come they say so I cut the spring hangers off to install my new 8 inch skyjack springs

Mine has that same spring access problem. I was going to deal with the springs before mounting the box, but ran out of time.
I was thinking of just drilling/cutting into the spare tire compartment to get at the springs when the time comes.

I can't believe the pace of your project!!! Amazing!!

Flight cancled it is a srw and I am going to run spacers
Cjken I was not about to cut holes in to the boxes after I spent a week water proofing them

Rounding out this week I got the front end and wheels and tires are here so I was really moving trying to get the front finished

Sweet! Color combo looks good.

Instead of cutting holes into the compartment to remove the hangers couldn't you push the bolt out from the inside and just keep cutting it off in sections?

Agreed I like the paint scheme as well. Is that a punch list hanging on the door? If so looks like you still have a few items left :)

Yes it is there are still two more pages that are not hanging up
You could cut the bolts but how would you get them back in
I had a ton of boxes show up yesterday so today I stayed on it all day my plan for the weekend is to get all the motor work done and Trans installed tanks built and installed and start the a/c for the rear I took a different approach to the rear ac then most and went all 12 volt and water condenser instead of a air condenser here is a pic of the compressor 10,000 btu 27 amps full load add that to the 25 amps that the blower pulls and I am just over 50 amps I was trying to stay under 50 but I could not bring myself to spend 250 on a new blower motor that was a permanent magnet motor but if I did it would not need a blower motor resistor and would be a adjustable via rheostat

I did a combination of copper lines and rubber the only lines that are copper are the supply and return to the evaporator they solder those two lines together in ice machines that's what makes them so effective
