Well I am 5'11" and with the roof raise I got about 8" above my head but I will give you exact measurements if you want I raise the roof 18" from where it was

No that helped alot. I'm 6'6" so just looking to be able to be upright. Once I find my ideal ambo this would be one of the first mods to do, just to be able to work in it with a slightly bad back.

So I took a break from building the beds to finish the cabinets. I built the drawers and doors and counter top

The doors did not turn out like I wanted but I don't have time to redo them. I am supposed to be done with this thing in 3 weeks for my 4 weeks of testing and then 4 weeks of travel and I really don't want to travel 3200 miles in a just built van with out testing it. I will however redo the doors when I get back
This is what I am using for the counter top

I cut a couple of pieces of oak to use as trim for the counter top. The trim serves two purposes it keeps the edges of the formica down and also stop things from rolling off. I stained them with some cherry stain but the wife wanted black( actually she took over the whole inside) which is fine it keeps her mind off of how much money I have put into this project.

Cool , I hope they hang in there for you . I " tile guy " usually use a special adhesive for glass and that is for something static. I am not familliar with the titebond product you used but it says it is designed for vinyl ? It is a trivial issue but one I actually have some level of experience with , however I don't know everything and if there is something to learn I am always on the lookout.

Well I talked with a classic coach interior guy and that's what he recommended to use. He said put it on kind of thick and let it tack up before you put it on. Look for it to ooze between the tile half way and you would be good

Well there you go, it will definitely help if the adhesive is coming part way around the side of the tiles . It looks fantastic , I am not used to seeing that level of finish on a home brewed rig. You and your family should have a great time this summer camping in style. For now my wife is happy tenting it so I will not be showing her how nice it could be

Continuing on with the sleeping accommodations I built it to have storage under the bed/bench the first bed I built pulled out like a couch bed but in the quest to get more storage I rebuilt it so what do you guys think there is still one more section missing that I have to work out. I got a couple of pieces left to fill in the gaps and it will be done
