Great opportunity to get a cheap 2009 HallMark Cuchara?

Actually, I have a 2009 Hallmark Milner LX and couldn't be happier. I have posted several comments since I purchased mine new. I can tell you it handles every bit of off road traveling as my friends FWC and and ATC. The finishes are far superior than the others out there. There are also added...

What's new at Coyote RV/Phoenix Pop up?

My manual lift is different than the FWC/ATC campers, but I would think it would work as my lift system is a crank, lifting the entire roof at the same time and I have no problems with the overheads in use. Sorry, no pictures.

What's new at Coyote RV/Phoenix Pop up?

I couldn't disagree more. I wouldn't give up my overhead cabinets, nor my under-bed storage for anything. The added space has not compromised my ability to travel over very rough terrain to get to remote locations and has only made things more manageable during travel and once I arrive there...

    four wheel camper customer service

Since August 3rd has passed, it sounds like you have chosen to abandon the order and deposit. I am assuming this case is now closed and we can move on, right?......please.

How do I prevent camper shift?

That's why I will NOT bolt through the camper or the bed of my truck. I only use Torklift frame mounts (front and rear) in conjunction with Torklift spring loaded tie downs. This way all the tork is taken up by the frame of the truck rather than the camper floor or truck bed and when driving on...

How do I prevent camper shift?

I have come to the conclusion that you will experience a small amount of shift, once you go off pavement and are on rougher roads regardless of what you try. I have a bed mat in my truck and opposing tie downs and my camper still moves around a little bit. I was concerned about when I was a new...

Looking for a truck camper.... am I missing something?

I couldn't agree with you more, Overland. I just think there is a common misconception that when a manufacturer advertises a lightweight camper, the customer thinks that is what it weighs going out the door. I have read several posts over the years stating they are surprised and somewhat annoyed...

Looking for a truck camper.... am I missing something?

As many have said in other posts and sites (me included) the weight issue is a sales point with many manufacturers and NOT the finished weight with options. Any company can advertise a weight of 6-900 lbs. but by the time you add in the options, the weight is going to be 12-1400 lbs regardless...

    Pop-up Camper Expedition Prep

Great info and story. I look forward to hearing more. The only mod I have done to my camper.....not really the camper, but I switched out the old style aluminum turnbuckles and chains for the XL spring loaded turnbuckles. What a nice change. They are so easy to tighten and keep tight. I also...

Any pop-up truck campers sleep 5 people?

Hey kjp1969, Forget the porta-potty....when they hit 14 or 15 years old, you'll have to find space for an entire bathroom....make-up vanity, mirrors, etc! :Wow1: Not only that, (father of the daughter) must leave the camper so she can get dressed! Still, I wouldn't trade it for anything! Good...

Torklift or Happi Jac on the rear?

I would be more concerned with the brackets that hold the bumper to the truck, rather than the bumper itself. My friends camper (not a Skamper), also on a small pickup actually had the bumper pull up and dent the truck body after driving on a rough road. This is most likely from over tightening...

POD: Custom camper - design stage

Pods, when are you going to start this build? I'm sure I am not the only one here that is anxious to see the progress! I just yanked my camper out of the garage for the season and it got me wondering about your build. I have no time or desire to build a camper, so I rely on everyone else to see...

    Northstar or Hawk?

My feeling is he doesn't have much experience! There are an endless number of people, me included, that are totally satisfied with their current campers. Those that are so closed minded to say there is nothing else but FWC or ATC worth buying, really didn't do their homework. We all made our...

    Northstar or Hawk?

I researched all of them four almost three years. I walked through every one of the major manufacturers and spent as much time tearing into the various features they all had. I Purchased a 2009 Hallmark Milner LX. I couldn't be happier. I fly fish, camp and mountain bike at the end of a lot of...

    Outfitter or Hallmark?

I researched all the major manufacturers for two years before I pulled the trigger and bought a 2009 Hallmark Milner LX two years ago. I couldn't agree more with all of the positive comments about Hallmark posted previously. The folks at Hallmark are bar none, some of the most customer oriented...

    Pop up Truck Camper Choices?

I am one of those guys who absolutely loves his Hallmark Milner LX. No leaks anywhere, no rot, no problems, maintenance free carbon fiber, seamless roof design and I have not had to alter anything about this camper. The service, coupled with the quality of the fixtures and build design far...
