    M101a2 Overland Trailer Build

Thanks! If I it wasn't for this forum, I would have never tackled a project like this!

Turn By Turn from custom GPS file

Agreed! Agree with everything else in your post as well. As much as I want all of these apps to work, the simplicity and functionality of my Garmin just can't seem to be beat. It's an old Garmin Zumo 550 that I use on my motorcycle as well. Had it for years now and still functions just as...

Turn By Turn from custom GPS file

I think that's the biggest issue for me is most of the apps won't do turn by turn directions. I've tried a bunch but keep finding myself going back to my standalone Garmin/Base camp solution.

    M101a2 Overland Trailer Build

Great start, looking good! I'm still investigating the water tank myself, I think I am going to go with getting a plastic one made to fit the space above the axle. I have yet to find a pre-made one in the right size.

    Permanent or removable?

Sorry, I don't have any design pics other then what's in the thread. I just read a lot of the threads on other people's builds and then came up with what would work best for my application. I used square steel tubing for the rack and telescopic steel tubing for the uprights. I think the base...

    Percolator coffee pot

Thanks for the link! I'm thinking I might get back into percolating, instead of the one or 2 cups at a time on the Jetboil.

    Permanent or removable?

Thanks! I'm not sure about the building to spec, they actually had a layout already for an M101A3 but you do fill out a complete spec sheet. Definitely give them a call, they answered all my questions and were great to deal with throughout the transaction. Have fun..it's addicting!

    Permanent or removable?

Re-moveable and height adjustable for Annex use, no need to compromise. My build in sig..

    InReach SE Screen failure?

Yeah, that's a good idea, if nothing else just to make them aware of the issue, although with the new units out they may not care as much.

    InReach SE Screen failure?

I wish I had the excuse of being hard on it, but it's led a pretty sheltered life! It still connects and function fine. I have also had to do a soft-reset once awhile back. Otherwise super happy with it, great piece of kit.

    My M101A2 Expo/Base Camp Trailer

I have the same actuators...no issues so far and I've used them quite a bit.

    InReach SE Screen failure?

Kind of a bummer, went to update my Inreach SE this morning and as soon as I plugged it in this is what I saw: For a device that lives mostly in a padded camera bag, I'm kind of surprised. It has never been dropped, etc. Granted it's still usable especially when connected to my phone. I...

Dstock's M101A1 build... or the reality, I needed a new project!

Thanks! That looks like a great platform combo, looking forward to see where you take it. I've been very tempted to pick up an M116A2 to use as a motorcycle trailer/ hauler of crap trailer. Of course, it's not something I really NEED at the moment but...LOL I'll be checking our your build...

Dstock's M101A1 build... or the reality, I needed a new project!

Thanks! I've been checking out your build thread as well, you are off to a good start. The nice thing about these trailers is you can add to them as your budget allows, which was my method of thinking when I started the build. I wasn't sure how much we would like it, so I started off small...
