Hoping to get started on my own tent trailer project based off that Coleman trailer build... Using a 1972 Starcraft Starlite trailer, adding frame reinforcement, a 3500# axle with brakes and new springs, and 31" tires and wheels to match my Jeep... Hoping to get to it this spring finally.

I would really love to see that Brat out in the rough stuff... I've been looking at his site for years.

When I retired from the Navy I chose to get as far from photography as I could. I'm a retired Navy photog. Whats good about that decision, is that I'm developing a desire to do it again, something I thought I had lost. Only took 8 years...

I used to work at a place that had some Ford F800 trucks like those. Marmon-Harrington 4x4 conversions, diesels and manual trans. We put old military style shelters on the backs for equipment and comfort.:victory: Couldn't hurt those trucks.

I have Cherry Bomb Turbo Mufflers on both my XJ and ZJ. Sound good, not too loud. And only $24 @ Autozone... NO, not the red glasspack...

My mistake. My understanding was the RBVs all had different crossmembers for 4x2 and 4x4. I finally saw a 4x2 B2 with the dummy case a few days ago...

I can't imagine an ISO number that high. I remember pushing old Tri-X to 8000 and a million hours in the soup at ridiculous cold temps to keep some grain down and minimize contrastiness... NOT always successful.:drool:

My 95 ZJ Upcountry, 4.0, 3.73s. Bought it 3 years ago box stock. Rolling on 235s and wheels that wouldn't stay tight. This was its first real wheeling outing. Rattlesnake trail around the mountain from me. A nice little mining trail in the Lakeside mountains west of the Great Salt Lake...

The 4x2 and 4x4 engine crossmembers are different, and even the 4x4 axle brackets will bolt in, the geometry will be off. Are you plannign a solid axle instead?

That WAS a lot of fun cutting that rusty XJ in half. Free XJ and parts for me, free back half for you! Turned out nice Scott, and it looks to tow very well (followed it down the highway and the trails...)...:wings:
