    Best balancing tire?

At first I thought it was just due to the larger size tires I run........then I tried some of the new 37" MT/R's........I had two 8" rows of weights double and triple stacked and those worthless tires would still shake me out of the truck practically, took them off, ripped all the weights off...

    Best balancing tire?

I've so far ran a set of 37x12.50x17 and 40x14.50x17 KM2's on my truck with no balancing weights at all and they're super smooth all the way up to 75 MPH.

    Petersons Ultimate Adventure Tundra

Well......I found out the hard way last weekend during the GSMTR event that I didn't allow for enough space between the trans temp sensor and skid plate........soooo......I had the pleasure of removing the new pan and putting my original pan back on , but this time if something hits...

12V plugs & sockets for fridge install

Yep, like stated above, you thread the end off the Engel plug and then the plug threads onto the outlet. Only way it's coming out is to either unthread it or break it completely off.

12V plugs & sockets for fridge install

This is the only plug I'll ever use on mine after having a bad experience with a standard style plug. http://www.sierraexpeditions.com/index.php?l=product_detail&p=1001

    ARB Locker Problem

If the preload is not set correctly on the side carrier bearings it can allow the air collar to leak. If it only does it when articulating the suspension, it could be something to do with putting pressure on one axle (assuming this is a semi-float axle). The axle housing itself can also be...

mods you wouldnt do again ...

My issues weren't as much off-road as they were on....although they did suck off-road for me as well....now that you mention it :). On my rig, they made it pull terribly to the passenger side, they would get extremely hot and smell like burning rubber running down the interstate (and yes my...

mods you wouldnt do again ...

    Petersons Ultimate Adventure Tundra

Just completed a few cooling upgrades / changes. Two main driving forces was to get my trans temp sensor relocated from the discharge line going to the cooler to the pan, the other was to eliminate the factory in-radiator trans cooler that I've read too many horror stories about rupturing. I...

Toyo Open Country MT or AT? How to decide?

The Toyo M/T's I ran seemed really smooth on the road actually and did really good off-road.

    Tent cot

We've got a single and oversize Kamp-Rite, been using the oversize for about two years now. A little bulky to carry, but it's so nice when you have to set up camp at night or in bad weather. In the winter we put it under our ez-up and put the sides on the ez-up. Usually keep the front side...

At what point do you move from the cooler to a fridge?

I'm not sure when the "right" time is.....but I can guarantee that once you do finally take that leap you'll ask yourself "Why didn't I do this years ago?!!!" :D

    Tire inflation compressors

I also have an ARB compressor for a back-up for the back-up :D. And I have my Powertank plumbed to a valved header under the hood with an 80 psig in-line regulator and a male quick-connect bulkhead fitting mounted in the bed next to the tank. So if my ARB compressor takes a dump on me, all I...

    Tire inflation compressors

It was about 6:00 AM, so it was only in the lower 80F's at the time, but the humidity was about 80% like usual around here. You wouldn't want to put your hand on the compressor when I got finished, but it seemed to cool down pretty quick when I was finished, waited about 15 mins before I put it...

    Tire inflation compressors

I finally got to try my MV50 out this past Sunday when some jokester thought it would be funny to pull all four of my valve cores while I was asleep. I was already out of CO2 from airing back up after the previous day's trail ride and had to use my compressor to air up four 40's from 0 psig to...

I'm really impressed with the Q Industries MV50 SuperFlow for the price, but this only serves as back-up for my CO2 tank - http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B000BM8RT8/ref=oss_product
