The KOA was okay. It was like every other KOA I've been too. I got crowded over the weekends but cleared out during the week. We stayed in a Kabin since we knew it would rain everyday, and it was clean and in a nice location under the trees. If you've never been to a KOA I'm not sure how to...

Hey Mike! How's it going? Yes, I was glad I thought up this quick trip to cooler climes - it is HOT down here! We're headed to Ouray next week as you might know, and I'm pretty excited about breaking out the long pants.
Hi! Yes we saw you too. Neat little car you've got there btw! d :)

Thanks for the write-up Lance. Very informative and helps raise awareness. We've been looking into some sort of wilderness survival training - good tips on which ones are out there. Thanks again! Diane
Very nice write up and pics! We've only been to the Maze so far, really looking forward to visiting the Needles and Island in the Sky districts soon. We've got plans to go back to the Maze in Oct. this year to visit The Dollhouse since it was unavailable last time. Thanks for sharing - looks...

Hey Scott & Brenda, thanks for posting. That was a bad spot - also sorry you had to momentarily stop near the top of a hill. Glad there was enough room for everybody to pull over.
Some of us on that trip are over here as well as the organizing site. Expo Portal is just a good all around...
We had a great trip over the weekend, camping at Turkey Creek Friday night, then taking The Rug Road over to Copper Creek for some exploring, and out to Mammoth Sunday afternoon.
