Finally got around to rear brakes, went with drilled, slotted rotors because the rears are non vented originally. Powerstop pads again they come with new boots and brake hardware. Turned out well.

Interesting turn of events, the Gen 1 is back but now with a hole in the oil pan. Came apart internally, no idea why but this thing only has 117k miles, didn't leak a drop of oil and ran fantastic (quiet too). Not sure it's fate as of now, bigger fish to fry.

Shovel is dead on, as usual. 4.90 and 33's will be the amazing, hands down my favorite combo for a Montero. I would look into OME or Bilstein 4600 too, I ran Tokico Trekmasters and liked them a lot as well.
