    Unimog 1550 for sale

More questions to bump this up. How do you jack up a Mog in the sand, and how many Moggers does it take to change a tire on this unit? :)

The Backup Plan: My 3rd Gen 4runner

No check engine light? That's good. With no maintenance history, I would definitely put replacing the fuel filter on your list of things to do. Is the milkshake worry a bit overstated, perhaps? I would think that the radiator would have to be in really shabby condition for this to happen.

I'm digging your new wheels. That's a sweet off roader.

    Unimog 1550 for sale

On the coolness scale, that thing is a perfect 10. Not much to be seen in the back, I guess? GLWS.

Convince me to get rid of my 4Runner for a Land Cruiser.

I haven't had the pleasure of driving any 4Runner newer than my 2001. After driving a UZJ100 today for the first time, I can offer my impressions and a comparison to the 4Runner. The 1999 V8 with over 260K miles impressed me with its smooth, quiet power. This truck, though it may look like...

    Locker issues

Only in Alaska. There was a similar one here. not quite so nice, for $2500 last year. How about updating your "worst Land Cruiser experience" story?

    2017 4runner v 2017 Landcruiser

Wow, difference in price is greater than 4Runner out the door price. It's not often that 4Runner comes out looking like a bargain in an SUV cost comparison. Note that today's 4Runner is much bigger than the 4Runners of old, and even larger than yesterday's 60 or 80 series Land Cruiser. Not a...

USA's new energy plan and Federal Land

Here's a more direct link, I hope: https://www.whitehouse.gov/america-first-energy Sounds like two faced nonsense to me, and a dream platform for fossil fuel interests. Accelerating the extraction of our natural resources is not protecting our natural resources, and promoting the burning of...

What is the value for a 1998 Land Cruiser with 7,100 miles yes only 7,100 miles

I need to ask a co worker for a spin in her 100. My impression is that these rigs are a bit too big and modern for my tastes. She prefers driving the family 80 series to her daily driver 2000 LC100, even with the 80 down one cylinder. :) She says the steering feels better in the 1995...

CL Land Cruiser: Looking for Buying Advice

A well used 3FE/A440F propelling an overweight 80 series? You're looking at 9 MPG tops. I think 6K is steep for that number of miles on the drive train.

The 2nd Gen Redemption by _ExpeditionMan

Nice one. Black or White are my favorite colors for this 4Runner generation. Got that console rear window switch working yet?

That's a gnarly looking 4Runner. Looks nice. I've never seen that color on this model before. It's a winner.

    my worst land cruiser adventure:

A very impressive feat, getting that thing running and then driving the Alcan with it. What parts was he after, anyway, and did you guys pay anything at all for it? Pics, please.

    SOS..4x4 newbie here and undecided between a LC100 or a 4th gen 4R..help!

The Cruiser would be tempting, given those conditions. But they're terrible on gas, so the Runner would save you a lot on operating expenses, probably be more fun to drive, and go anywhere you want.

    98 4Runner Price

Wow. Well, now we know how far gone the frame can get without the vehicle falling apart. The dealer is obviously a real stand up guy.
