played in the range this weekend. lucky boy (easy graded road) to Aurora then up into Bodie from the junction ( not so easy) narrow and two sketchy bridges. great views however.
heck i find loose screws in GXV all the time. it does not matter what you drive/pull. the road vibrations will find a way to defeat any tech sooner or later.
hijacking the conversation but when you weigh over 11k pound's as camperthing and I do 800 pounds anywhere other then the roof ( maybe) ain't going to change a thing. I am personally 16.5K pounds fully loaded with the motor cycle hanging off the back and traction is never a issue.
i have 200 miles so far. great bike. im 6,2 and 240lbs and gets my butt around just fine. cold blooded motor but warms quick and runs great. fuel injection and abs, just enough tech for me and MSRP of$5k, what do you want
built a new bike rack and needed a shake down run. found this gem of a road. new bike and rack held fast. guess i can still fabricate in my aging state.
just finished moving mi fab shop after 30 years. so much ********! got rid of a bunch saved to much but the new shop is so nice. good luck. now if i can just remember where i put that thing.
agree 100% i really did not like the magic beads. i run Alcoa wheels and they make special hammer on weights just for them. 10K miles on and off road and have not lost one yet.
when i got my used GXV it had no dinette. the guy who had it built just put in a small fixed table and had two office chairs in there. he would strap the chairs to the wall for travel. it was the worse for off road as the chairs would work just loose enough to rattle and scuff up the walls. i...
