I just returned with my van yesterday and I'm and happy with my purchase even though it needs some improvements. It accelerates strong 20 psi, and the shifting is fast, and often in town. Turbo, injectors, and pump recently replaced. I ran 75-80 most of the way and hardly any extra throttle...
I guess 1sweetvan made up my mind about the TTC 2814's.. I wont have a van full of cast iron pipe, so the second option would be the spacers.. Any negatives about the spacers?
Will this kit really level my stock 1995?
Thanks.. A Cummins E350 was my dream as well.
This is the only pic I have now. First gear is a inch or two off your hip.
I like the look of these 265/75-16 BFG A/Ts
I also am looking for larger tires for my 95 e350 2wd no lift. I might add front springs or 2" front spacer later. Bbasso's pics are great to actually see which tire your talking about.
My main priority is towing safety as my toyhauler weights 6K# dry up to 10K#. 1200lbs tongue weight. But...
I was trying to research this because I haven't decided. I mentioned the 255/85r16 because of this comment I found..
I would highly recommend looking for some 255-85-16 All Terrains load range E. There are a bunch of threads on expeditionportal. describing this tire size specifically, and the...
Thanks again.. WMS is the term I was missing.
38" for the leaf span? Kind of coming together because a local fellow with a few 99 F350 D60 axles for sale said E350 was 2" wider and Id have to move hangers or perches.. He bought the F350 wreck to do his e350 4x4, but changed direction.
I...
I'm sure Id be fine towing 10k# with 4", or maybe even a 6" lift. The front needs 3" just to be level anyway.
Just saying, I'm keeping the van as low as possible with a front axle under it and guessing 265/75 16's would be a decent choice. Looking for a suitable axle and grayhound ticket's...
Thanks Chris.
I need to keep my van low for towing and don't want to modify any wheel openings other than the front bumper. I'd better decide which rim and tire I want to run before deciding on which front axle. Thinking 265/75-16's. Or can I go bigger but still tow ok if I relocate the...
Question about front 4x4 axles under E350's..
Would a 97 dodge dually front BJ D60 driverside drop work under the E350? I was told spacers could be removed to run stock wheels.
I keep reading about F350 D60's up front.. Is that the most painless, or only option? Any years I should stay...
Very cool Van you've got there.. Great travel pics..
I read through the thread but missed what you had to modify to clear the steering arm.
I'm looking at installing a used dodge BJ D60 axle in my 95 E350, but there's allot of gray unknown area..
Thanks! Here I am thinking I need a np205 when actually I need a NP241? lol 5th gear already popped off and fixed.
The cummins parts truck's IC got robbed by the seller. Said "thats all he wanted" making me wonder about the condition of the 300k + motor etc. But its all there cept the IC 2k...
Check this out..
The seller set this up for me.. But from what my inside guy (who has the job posted now for $850) tells me.. the brokers hook you then say its only a quote and charge you more. I dunno..
And when you check out auto ship transport on the review site.. they have only been...
Can someone explain the difference between the pre 1993 nv4500/np205 and the post 1993 nv4500/np205 other than dodge switching from passenger left side drop to driverside drop after 93. When was the getrag discontinued?
Completely different transmissions and T-cases 93 to 94 dodge's? Or is...
Depends on how much time you have.. These older 4x4 vans can be bought for cheap, but then your stuck with that year suspension. depending on the transmission, you may need a new Tcase. If you luck out and find the same trans in both your in luck and Id go for it if you can get it cheap.
