Would that work with the mounting rails on something like a Maggionlina Grand Tourer? I'm considering mounting it to a Rhino Rack Pinoeer that has front to back oriented rails.
That's a really interesting idea! I don't think it'll work too well for a hard shell roof top tent. But for those looking for an OEM style rack, it's perfect.
I'm leaning toward the Maximus 3 rack at the moment. Or forgetting about the RTT and resuming my build plan.
Not really. The Jeep is better offroad with just a 2.5" lift than the 100 was with all the above. It's also faster, more fuel efficient and handles better. Plus I can fit into parking decks and my wife doesn't despise it. I do miss how heavy duty it was and how much space I had. But I also had...
Anyone know how much height the Rhino Rack Backbone system adds? Also, how much does it weight? I know similar racks that utilize that platform weight about 70lbs.
About 2 years old. The Guardian, case, cables and 30 panel were purchased new a couple years ago from Costco and Amazon. The 30m panel was bought from another ExPo member maybe 6mos before that.
Can everyone see the images now?
I was about to buy a Rhino Rack Backbone system for this same application until I noticed that the mounting channels on the RTT don't extend far enough back. Can you post a picture of how you mounted it?
