    Trailer cover

Do you live anwhere near an area where boating is popular? I took my small trailer to a boat canvas shop and they made me a nice snap on cover for less than $100.

JK Overland Project: Expeditions West 3.0

My jeep's suspension is identical to this Jeep. AEV 3.5" with 35" Tires and stock 4.10 Rubicon Gears. Scott is dead on the money - for a suspension with so few parts, it is a beast! Jim Frenz really knows what he is doing! If I recall, when this jeep was introduced it had a smaller suspension...

Hey! Funny seeing you here! I've been lurking and posting a little here and there on expo for a while. Funny how the world is so small!

    Winter Wonderland

Here's a couple. I just saw a thread on another board about this recently. If you do a youtube search, there's a couple where a plow got stuck so bad that they had to get something on the order of 8 locomotives and a couple backhoes to pull it out. http://www.youtube.com/v/MlA2INOpT78&rel=1...

    ExpeditionPortal.com Decals - ROUND 3

Hey guys, I think someone told me that the person who was making them may be on extended vacation somewhere. I have made some for one member here, and am willing to make more. I have the machine to do it, and some colors available. PM me if interested. (Mods/Site Owner - I PMd you a while back...

    My trailer build 2007 JK

I'd like to know where he gets his fenders from. I haven't had any luck finding ones that will fit my 33s, let alone 35s or 37s.

Pile of parts for my DIY trailer

Yep, I plan on fenders and a lid before I tow it any distance. I have some prefab fenders, but they don't quite fir right with the 33's, so I am going to get some diamondplate bent to the right size instead.

Pile of parts for my DIY trailer

Got the wood floor cut, routed, and drilled today. I used 1x6 cedar decking board. I had to route out a relief for the tailgate so it could swing without hitting the floor, and also route out the reliefs for the tiedowns in each corner. Now I have to pull the boards back out, sand them, and...

    Home made tent platform?

My trailer is a home built one with a 4x4 box, so if I built a platform say 6x8, that folds to 6x4, I think it could work out quite nicely. I guess I would just have to source a tent that has a rectangular footprint before I decide to build a platform.

    Home made tent platform?

Martyn - That is almost exactly what I was thinking of, nice to see a picture of something like it!

    Home made tent platform?

Has anyone ever seen, or tried to make a simple platform for a trailer that could be deployed and then a standard tent secured to it? I would love to purchase a RTT, but just can't justify it at this point as I don't camp more than a few times a year. My goal is just to get my tent up off the...

    Canvas Cover Hooks?

I have been searching everywhere, and can't find exactly what I am looking for. I plan to have a canvas cover made for my trailer, with grommets, and attach it to my trailer much like you would on a military trailer - alternating grommet on canvas to hook on trailer. What I cannot find is any...

Pile of parts for my DIY trailer

I'd say I'm at around $1200-$1400, including new tires and rims, lighting, all the steel, and misc trips to Home Depot and Ace Hardware. I haven't been real diligent about tracking the receipts. (Not sure I wanna know exactly how much it cost!!), but I do know that the major items add up to...
