Fantastic build! It's easy to get carried away with giant lifts and spending thousands on huge, often unnecessary gadgetry. It's great to see a clean rig that's thoroughly appreciated.

saw it and gave it a thumbs up when it came across my feed!
Read this thread from page to page and I'm really wanting to make a similar build.. Now just time to save up for the OME 2.5" kit.. and I think in a 30x9.5x15 flavor.
Great XJ!
It's pretty amazing what all the Jeep will go over with just 30" tires and rear locker. The limit I really faced with my ZJ was Approach and Departure angels. With the Cherokee and a high clearance front bumper it will really take me anywhere.
Awesome write up as well
Make sure to post a thread so I can follow... Can't wait to see the progress. All of my parts came in this weekend. A similar thread will be done, hopefully Sunday.

I like the simple look of those wheels. Painted white would match up with your jeep very nicely and would look like the jeeps built when I was young, where white wagon wheels were the thing.
Also gives you another tire option in the BFG AT at 33x9.50. Would be perfect on that rim and would limit the modifications needed to run 33's since they would tuck nicely into the wheel wells, I believe.
Nice work.

I know it will look great! :clapsmile A 33x 9.50 is a perfect match for those rims on a XJ. Buddy of mine has that setup and he loves it. It's to bad you don't live in Colorado cuz you could have my old steelie wheel set for free.
