ATW Global Warrior .... Official Pics

Regarding the one spare vs 2 issue:
on my 1st North america trip after shipping from Germany to Jacksonville and then driving to Palo Alto to store for the winter, we went to Baja. An aftermarket Koni shock froze up, broke in half and one half ate the inside sidewall of a very heavy duty 395/85R20 Michelin XZL. I had only one spare, which kind of psychologically crimped the rest of the Baja trip. In Tucson I found a "gov't take-off" XML, but it spontaneously blew out a sidewall in Saline Valley, Calif. So again no spare until Edmonton, Alberta where I bought 2 slightly used (>95%) XZLs. For my recent Australia adventure, I carried 2 unmounted spares on the roof plus one mounted on the back. I wouldn't have less.

Would love to visit Oz. Found an "Austrailian slang dictionary" so I thought it might be amusing if I attempted to answer using it...let's hope this doesn't create an International incident....Yes! OZ!!! I'll grab the cook and give it a burl. I am no bludger so we will bring plenty of slabs of four X. We may stand out like a shag on a rock around the bush telly but it may prove to be a real ripper. Especially when I am off my face trying not to liquid laugh. I enjoy sharing stories but I am no figjam, instead I strive only for the good oil.:friday:

John is it a 12v pump you use to empty the black water tank? I was intending to use a macerating toilet as per boats in my camper build, but was thinking about the best way to empty the tank, I did think about a cassette dunny but it just did'nt appeal to me at all.

Only one correction to you dictionary Dean
"four X" is actually spelt XXXX that way Queenslanders understand what your talking about
and its always a good idea if your going to talk beer in OZ go the local drop wherever you are
Except for in the territory where nobody drinks NT Draught not even the locals
believe me its worse than XXXX
A couple more elocution lessons and that dictionary and you'll be a fair dinkum dinky di ozzy in no time :wings:

Hey Alan,

We run a macerator pump toilet with a separate macerator pump on the outlet of the each grey and black tank. In the case of the Isuzu they are 24 volt macerator pumps or 12 volt for the Fuso. Thanks mate for the earlier comments too.

Regards john.

Hey Stu, when I lived in the Territory, I don't think anyone could read , not at Limb's anyway, cause they would just ask for cans by the colour.....green can, blue can and or the preferred yellow can....... Sorry way off track and that was a lifetime away.... I'm still laughing over Dean's slang translation.

Recently had to good fortune to have a good look at the ATW work shop in person. What a cool place. Lots of innovation, engineering and bomb proof work! Everything is though out very carefully then designed before being tested rigorously only to come back with updates and changes from what they have learnt!

Really enjoyed the tour and look at what's in the works. Great work and super products.

Yeah, no worries mate. Expo members welcome any time.

Re: Suspension. Talk to Mark or Jon in Accessories....Mark's away for the next few days visiting some of our dealers in North Queensland so probably Jon E. Actually I think it was Mark who organised your single wheels way back when.

The Cape in June ...doesn't get any better than that.

Regards John.
