Camo Truck Kits

When I get enough of Mother Nature's pinstripes I would love to do something like either one of these:

Que? :removeredX:

Camo turns heads, yeah, but is a real laugh when you drive the gull-wing out to the woods to go on a hike, and you can't find it when you get back.

I hate it when that happens.

The camo wrap is kinda cool. A couple of years ago there was some company - Mossberg, or Remington, or Bass Pro Shop or SOMEBODY in the outdoors industry - that was raffling off a BRAND NEW Tacoma that was lifted, and had aftermarket tires and wheels, and was completely wrapped in RealTree camo. That truck looked really good. I Googled, but couldn't find it...

...As much as I dislike FJ Cruisers, I love the wrap on this one! If I could find out who made this wrap, I would do my Tacoma like this in a heartbeat!! Instead of the silver still showing, I'd wrap my ENTIRE truck in the Topo map!
...As a matter of fact - does anybody know where that wrap might have come from?

I just happened across it yesterday while surfing.

How do these wraps hold up? obviously they will scratch but will they peel with water? and has anyone ever tryed to install themselves? i want to have mine done also.

If those wraps are reasonably durable and easy to apply they would be a nice alternative to painting. Hopefully they would also come out with other colors/patterns.

I hate the boring look of my plain white truck. If I was keeping it I might consider some kind of wrap like that to give the truck some "personality." Wouldn't go with camo, though. I drove camo trucks in the Army, don't have any desire to do it now.

There's a Suzuki Sidekick around here that has a decent looking camo wrap on it. He's got it lifted with mud tires, winch, etc. I see it fairly dirty a lot so he obviously drives it off-road and the wrap seems to be in good shape walking by in the parking lot; I've never actually walked up to it to inspect it.

I had the pleasure of pealing that wrap off when Scott sold the truck.
3 things: It looked like it held up pretty good to offroading. It was a #%^# to remove, and up close it didn't look as good as it does from 5-10 feet back.
I would suggest if you do a wrap picking a similar color to your paint because it would show the imperfections in the sticker less.

What does a wrap approximately run? I think digital camo would be awesome but waaaaay too big of a PITA to mask and paint.
