Well thanks to Paul at Equipt Expedition Outfitters we enjoyed some penthouse comfort on our recent trip to the Mojave. Loving the new tent, and can't wait to get out there again soon.

At night you can look down into the valleys and see the lights from homesteads. Once the sun comes up, they disappear into the forest.

Hey how does that roof awning thing work and where did you find it? winds rains? pretty sweet to wake up to that!!!

Roof awning consists of two tent poles, and ties onto my roof rack. I bought it at sportsmansguide.com a few years ago for about $30. I keep it in my truck all the time for these occasions. They seem to have discontinued it now...

It does well in the rain, but can be a bit of a hassle in strong winds.

You can park about four rigs in there. We had three jeeps, my trailer and a large tent set up.

I would say in total it goes back about 60-70 feet and ends. There isn't much to explore.
