Camped here outside of Winthrop, Wa. for two nights and did three days of riding with friends.






View of the Chewuch River from my sleeping bag in the pop top bunk.




Riding friends went home after three days, so i sent a SPOT to Railvan so he could join me for some exploration.

PNW sunrise in the Okanagon.




Too much snow to be able to cross the pass, time for a reroute.




Ended up in Barker Canyon on Banks Lake in the gumbo mud. You can make out the SMB camped on the water's edge for the night.




Excellent 5 day weekend, like all weekends should be.

Used the DENALI "Camp Chef" to cook--very kewl--three burner stove/w center grill-

30s at night 70s during the day then on June 4--it snowed there-

Well, I didn't want to go back to work, but I was ready to get out of the heat. The wind blew nicely during the day, but died down to nothing at night, making the humidity and temperatures pretty unbearable.

I've been refining my setup since last season and I've got it down to this. I was worried it was a bit much but I can pack up camp and be on the road in 17 minutes which was well below my goal of 30. (If my wife comes it changes to 3 hours. lol)

My favorite camp spot thus far. This is an old miners cabin at the townsite of Stateline, NV. My daughter and grand daughter were reading a travelers log that spanned 40 years of visitors to the cabin.

Hawthorne, NV. Right after we arrived, the wind started around 30+ kts, and remained the same all night long!
