That is a beautiful set up. I really like what you have done so far. Is that FatMat still holding up? I am really considering doing this in my little diesel car to quiet it down.

Edit: Maybe I missed it. but how thick of matting did you use?

Thanks! The fatmat works great and is holding up just fine. I got the mega mat, which I believe is 80 mill thick. Only complaint is the tar smell after you apply it, but it goes away after a couple days leaving the windows down. I still have a lot more and plan on removing my headliner and doing my roof.

Some updates. I sold my campershell, it was a little too heavy and I could feel it. Looking into a softopper, but my main focus is a 4Wheel Camper. If I cant find one used (which is hard) might go over to Woodland and pick me up a new one. I'm coming up on 170K miles and this truck runs a great as the day I bought it. Really love this truck and I believe it is the last pure Toyota truck made. No traction control, no other controls to help you drive, just pure man and machine. Here are a couple pics from the past week.

Yeah definitely air bags. Go the whole 9 yards an opt for the in cab control. Buddy has that it sure is nice changing the psi on the fly!

You will love the camper. So awesome to park and chill in minutes. Makes "camping" almost too easy.

Well sad but happy day today. Ill be selling the Tundra here soon. Picked me up a very clean and nicely outfitted 2011 FJ Cruiser! Brand new 295 Toyo MTs, rock sliders, CB radio and more little things. Got a great deal and only 30k miles! I'm loving it so far!

Nice! What are you set-up plans for this?

Good question, been thinking about that all day at work! From what I've learned with the Tundra you don't need much but good tires and a locker. I got all that now. But first mod will be a front bumper with a winch and a baja roof rack. I want it clean and simple yet capable!

What traction system do you have in the tundra? I thought you had the ARB. If so, you should install it into the FJ.

Yeah I have the ARB in the Tundra, but the FJ has a locker and A-TRAC already, so pretty much fully locked! This thing is fully loaded!
