Truck is looking great and I really like the new bumper and swing out. Much more useful than the old design and gets your tire weight back low and less stress on the swing out. Glad it didn't go up in smoke!!!!

FlipPacs at Mountain Rendezvous

Here's my MOUNTAIN RENDEZVOUS TRIP REPORT , we had lots of FlipPacs as usual.

I feel like I am the last kid to have the cool shoes, right before the new trend comes out. I just finished having a swing out added to my bumper a few months ago, and I moved the tire from underneath the truck to the swing out. For the record, the 255/85 fit perfectly under my 03 DC. Oh well. I guess I will be ready for that one time that I get stuck and I don't have access to the tire underneath.

I do see the move going toward keeping the tire under the vehicle and doing a rear bumper like yours. It does make sense. It will be interesting what we'll see in the next 5 years.

Being able to carry a bike rack (and bikes) again is muy bueno, really digging the utility of the new Demello rear bumper and how it compliments the FlipPac

The hitch mount for the bike rack is on the swing out. Cool!
