Fred the Van. The More We Explore's Adventure Van Build Thread

USMC Dude

Just looking to get lost
Dig your thread and Videos. I retire from the Military in a few years and hope to do the same. Looking for a van to start building now and hopefully find the twin to yours!

^^ Will trade/exchange an E-250/E-350 for an Iveco Daily 4x4 or Iveco Eurocargo 4x4. Open to other offers :D

Videos are great Steve. Does it normally take 2 months from filming to publishing or are you just that busy?

Depends on the client, my schedule, and my priorities. At the time I was doing this, it was a higher priority to finish building the van, since it's my daily driver. So I put off editing for quite a while.

Each episode takes about 6-10 hours to edit. Some edits I can crank out same-day, but I only do that when I have a client who needs it soon. If I had edited this as I went, I'd still be wrenching on the van every night.

I have over 1tb of video to edit still. I have about 15 projects from March that I still haven't edited. I wish I had time to edit full time, I've got some cool footage I can't wait to finish.

Yeah right, me OCD? Have you seen my rolling cart, where something falls off every time I use the vice? :)

Actually, I have an amazon affiliates account. Amazon gives me a little kickback whenever someone buys something from one of my links. So it's more me trying to earn a few extra bucks than being ocd. :)

Nice work Steve. (Spoiler Alert) I see that you leaked a pic of the finished project... Looks great! Can't wait for the finished video reveal to hear your thoughts and see your reaction.
