Im here - just
had a bit of a scare recently so havent been to vocal
but im on the mend now and rolling out my beige reteric
must have been the photo of alans "hobbit"feet

I took the truck bush in the south west for some solitude all by my lonesome
found a nice little spot with no phone reception etc
set up my camp
then thought whats that grabbing pain in my chest and why is my left arm numb
sat it out for a couple of hours but it didnt go away
then went for a climb up a hill to find phone reception and called an ambulance
well 5 ambulance rides, 3 hospitals and a trip with the RFDS later
and im flat on my back having a stent or 2 put in
mild heart attack apparently - lucky they said
the wife and a mate retrieved the truck
and now im all better - although i have to behave ?
doctors advice -
eat healthy, loose weight
and limit ridicule to beige canters
well at least there is somthing worth living for :victory:

Well finally got the truck fired up on the weekend and drove it around the block, it all seems good! the front suspension is great! engine/transmission all good! diffs all good! brakes all good! i bite of a relief considering all the mods and reconditioning done, the engine needed the fuel winding up, when the pump was rebuild they would of set the fuel for a normally aspirated engine, the boost hangs around 1 bar (15psi) the most I've seen is 1 1/2 bar, no exhaust at the moment so it's very noisey.

it moves under its own steam
now all you have to do is get it registered and drive it round to a body shop to get it painted (like you thought I could resist?)
whats your estimated guess on when the whole project will be finished, body and all ?
